High-quality CT scan services that reveal crucial medical details with unparalleled clarity.

What is a CT Scan?

A Computed Tomography or a CT scan also goes by the term Computerised Axial Tomography (CAT) scan. It is a diagnostic technique that uses many computer-processed x-ray images of your internal body structures taken from different angles. These images are processed as tomographic images or virtual slices and printed or transferred to a CD. The CAT scan is a technological marvel that allows you to see the body part from various angles without any invasive procedures. It is a painless procedure that allows us to derive crucial details about the functioning of your internal organs, tissues, bones, and blood vessels.

Krishna Scans has one of the most advanced and sophisticated CAT scan machines that generate images with incredible clarity for accurate interpretation. We have a superb team that excels in handling the procedure with finesse and expertise.

Our CAT Scan is powered by a potent combination of powerful x-rays and hi-tech computers to produce high-definition images.

FAQs

1. What does a normal CT scan reading indicate?

A normal CT scan reading does not show any visible possibilities of blood clots, tumours, anomalies, and disorders in the bone structure, organs, or tissues.

2. How safe are CT scans?

While CT scans are generally considered safe and painless, there is an underlying risk of radiation exposure, depending on how much the body is scanned. Moreover, some people experience allergic reactions to the contrast dye used for the scan. However, CT scanners are designed to ensure you are not exposed to unnecessary radiation levels.

3. What is the duration of a CT scan?

The duration of the procedure will vary from ten to thirty minutes, depending on the type of examination you require.

4. When will I receive my scan reports? Also, what will happen after the scan?

Our radiologist will study your scan images and interpret their findings. You shall receive your report as soon as our radiologist reads the images. You may take the report to your referring doctor for further analysis.

5. Can I move during the CT scan?

No. Once the procedure begins, you should stay still. If you move during the scan, it will cause blurred images which can hinder your diagnosis.

A CT scan is a marvellous diagnostic procedure with the following benefits.
  • Images tissues, bones, and blood vessels at the same time.
  • Provides fast, simple, and efficient reports.
